Something to think about

Salam

Today I spent time at home. I got bored so I watch some videos on youtube. I read on newspaper about a theatre called ‘Natrah’. I heard about it for quite some time this year, but i don’t know what is actually about this lady. So I googled her.

I read few articles about Natrah. Her story was indeed tragic. I hope the theatre will turn out well. Directed by Erma Fatima, and features Maya Karin as Natrah, I guess it would be a hit. If I have the chance to watch it, i'll definitely go.

Owhh, there was this song about Natrah by Handy Black, a local band which was banned back in 1992.

As for Natrah a.k.a Maria @ Bertha Vertogh, who died on July this year, may she be rest in peace. There's so many versions of her stories and i've watched the video where she introduced herself as 'Nadra' not Maria or Bertha, 2 months before she died. Whatever faith she was, it's not for us to judge, that's between her and the Almighty.

On my way looking for Natrah's story, I found some interesting videos about converting faith or religion. It is heartbreaking to know the fact that so many muslims converted to other religions in this country itself. How can they not see the beauty of Islam as their way of life? How come they are not grateful to be born as a muslim? I wonder.

This topic is kinda heavy for me. I'm just curious. Maybe i'm not the right person to elaborate on it but that's just how i feel. I pity them. Semoga dijauhkanlah semua ini dariku, ahli keluargaku dan sahabat taulanku. Amin.

I wanna be a better person. A person who keeps her promises, a muslim who is obedient to Allah s.w.t., a daughter who makes her parents proud, a student who works hard, a friend who's always there and love myself, to be healthy and to be more confident on whatever that i'm doing. Pray for me.

Faree Tells : I'm easily motivated by things around, I just gotta know where to start, when to start. But sometimes when i didn't follow the sequence, I quit. ...and to start it over again, would take a longer period of time.

New Moon!

I just don't understand why people are so crazy about Edward Cullen! ARGH! I prefer JACOB! HAHAHA. leh! Go werewolves! LOL ;p

Twilight. Frankly speaking, I watched the first Twilight movie from the downloaded file on PC and I don't think it is that great. Maybe because I didn't watched it on the big screen?

So why do people are so crazy about Twilight anyway? Robert Pattison? Aiyoo! I still don't get it. Maybe it's the book. Positive.

Watching New Moon yesterday made me think about it again. Was it the movie or the cast attracts the movie-goers out there? Personally I like New Moon better. Maybe because it highlighted more on Jacob HAHAHA. See? this is what i mean. People love to watch something beautiful! He's so good that he delivered Jacob so well. That boy from 'Cheaper by the dozen 2'. He's 17! OMG.

 

I don't think Taylor Lautner is that attractive when he's off the screen. I believe it's his acting that makes him likeable. Edward's just too pale. Ya i know, he's a vampire. Whatever it is, I go for the dark guy! hahah i should stop.

How come Vampires and Werewolves are so romantic one? I wonder. If I had to choose, I wouldn't pick any of them. HAHAHAHA. Saya mahu yang beriman. LOL! Merepek gilers uols!

This is not a review about the storyline. That, you can read somewhere else ;p I know this is just crap. Duh. I love JACOB anyway! Thank youuu! I mean I like Jacob better than Cullen. Okay nuff said.

Raya morning, after the Raya prayer (which i didn't go because of some technical problems HAHA) we did the usual salam-salam thing. Kali ni salam kosong. HAHAHA. After that we did the Takbir Raya led by Arif, merangkap lebai muda kita. Hahaha ;p

Pak Uda brought Burasak from Johor. I never heard of it before. It is a very famous bugis rice dish which is normally prepared during the Hari Raya celebrations. It's delicious indeed. Unfortunately i did not snapped any pictures of it. :(

Oh well,

That evening we went to Muar, as usual. We stayed for a night. The food was awesome! Nasi Briyani, Nasi Bukhari, Kuah Lodeh...you name it! That night, we watched Malay drama together. Like really, TOGETHER. The title of the drama is 'Taubat Nasuha'. It's a very tragic drama! So cruel! but again, it's just a drama.

The next day was Ayie's birthday. Abah bought a cake and we celebrate it before going back to Melaka.

Refuse to stuck again

Ouh currently di kampung masih :) We just can't stand the heavy traffic, it's horrible. Tomorrow would be okay, positive.

On Thursday, we're stuck in the heavy traffic all the way from highway Bangi to Seremban okay! The 1 and a half journey to Malacca became 3-hour journey. Bad timing.

Earlier we went to Alamanda with Busu. Thanks Busu Lily for the treat! Sushi King + Bowling = Superfun! We supposed to go Karaoke! but unfortunately there's no karaoke at Alamanda. How can that be?? Saaaad. Maybe some other time.

About Hari Raya, will update it soon once i've reached home. Didn't bring the phone cable to upload the photos.

One cool fact, we have wireless here at our kampung house. Well, it's Paklong's actually but it's free for everyone to connect. Gile seronok. Tapi yang tak best nye budak-budak ber gen XY ni ramai kat sini. Dota lah jawabnye. Macam cyber cafe plak. Tension!

At this very moment the guys yang tak balik lagi (cousins & brothers) are watching Arsenal vs Chelsea. Boo to both team! hahahahahah. This is the time where i can use the internet freely. Wahahaha, i'm catching up at the same time too but if it's not MU playing, then it's fine for me not to watch. Wahaha poyo.

Aih, Bazila ask me to go watch movie with her tomorrow. New Moon. Petang sikit kot..cuz i don't know what time we'll reach home. Alaa, Melaka je tade hal laa. Esok tak jam punye :p

Raya's coming!

Today was boring. No activities like yesterday :( but I guess tomorrow will be fun!

Busu Lily message us on FB asking whether we're free or not tomorrow. Ayie and Shila have booked the tickets for New Moon. I wanna go too! Tapi kalau dapat karaoke lagi best! HAHAHA. Lagi-lagi kalau orang belanja kan Busu? ;p Hope jadilah esok ni.

Raya Haji's coming! Tomorrow will pack our things and balik kampung. Petang sikit kot. Confirm jam esok.

Mak haven't called for 2 days already. Maybe she's busy. Maybe I should call her? or text to her at least. She'll be back on the 25th December. That's another month to be exact. But she always calls so everything's good.

She said she's at Arafah now. Tomorrow will do the Wukuf. I'm not really sure about it but will google after this. hahaha. It's around 7pm something there at Arafah.

Bestnye nak balik Raya. Both side also fun...Melaka and Johor. It's the time when we family can meet and gather. Makan pun special. Hmmmmm sedapnye!! HAHAHA Habeslaa sume daging-daging korban itu.

Bersempena Raya Haji yang bakal tiba, saya ingin mengucapkan SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILADHA. Semoga kita semua dilimpahkan rahmat dariNya dan bersedia untuk berhijrah untuk menjadi insan yang lebih baik dan mulia disisiNya dan kepada insan-insan lain.

Just like last time

Hahaha new blog template! Hope it doesn’t distract you readers! I know it’s kinda heavy for certain people but heyy, i love it! Enough about that. Not that it’s a big deal. Hihi.

Okay today was awesome. I wanna live today again, can? ;p

What did i do today?

1.      Went out with my girls! (Bazila & Shikin)

At first we wanted to go to KL by public transport but end up driving the car. Bazila wanted to buy some electronic components at Jalan Pasar for her final semester projects, I don’t think it’s a good idea to take public transport laa, we’re not familiar with that place, which bus to take oso don’t know.

Serious, I’ve never been to Jalan Pasar until today. It’s a very busy place though it’s Tuesday. Everyone’s everywhere! Tak keje ke? We can find many bargain buys here especially car parts and accessories, electronic components and items, mobile phones, etc. We parked in a building (scary woo) for RM4 per entry and walk. You don’t want to drive around there, it’s very busy.

2.      Next stop – BTS! (Berjaya Timesquare)

Like whoever calls Timesquare - BTS? HAAHAHHA. Yasmin! Sorry babe, it’s funny! We had our lunch here at the food court. Bad choice. We met a schoolmate on our way to the Surau. We bought ourselves something, that’s for sure *sigh* I’m not supposed to buy anything! I’ve tried. I just can’t. It’s adorable and i guess i will regret if i didn’t buy it.Aiyooo.

I’m craving for pretzels so Auntie Anne’s it is! Choc mint is always a favourite!

3.      Tea @ Raju’s

Called Amin and Blur to join us for Teh Tarik and Roti Canai. The best in PJ i tell you! Hohoh.

4.      Batting Cage @ OU

Aiyooo, terbaek! We played for 15minutes = RM25. Not bad for a try. Will sooo do it again some other time. Earlier at the parking lot, we saw Noh Hujan with a lady that looks like Natasha Hudson. Ade kaitan ke? Hahhha. Salah pompuan kot. We saw him again inside the mall.

5.      Dinner @ Lau Wan, KJ

Shikin didn’t join, had to accompany her sister to Shah Alam. Picked up Shila from Jaja’s place and straight away headed to KJ.

Went home after that.

Banyak makan kan? Wahkahkahkahkah.  Raya Haji is around the corner. Memang non-stop laa makan. Isk isk. Bile nak sedar diri nih. Hmm I miss Mak. Hope she’s doing fine there at the holyland.

Hey all :)

Though it's the semester break, still don't regularly update the blog. Aiiiiyoo. Lazy, lazy me. Hikkkshikks.

OK, last Saturday, I went to an event called 4belas. It's the Interior Design's Saturday, an annual event for ID students. The Saito College was the organizer this time. It reminded me of the 2belas event held at Uitm Perak 2 years ago. Ohhh I miss those days! Btw, the 4belas event were held at PJ, my hometown! So, it would be so cruel not to join right? at least for a moral support.

I always love ID events. Although now i'm studying industrial design, ID is still my first love! Reaaally.

I went to Menara MBPJ first with Min and Wawa to see the mural/wall paintings as soon as we arrived. Then we went to MBPJ HQ to see the sculpture making and the race. We met seniors, juniors and lecturers. RINDU! Dah besar dah adik-adik semua! Hebat-hebat pulak diorang ni. HAHAHA.

Sein Lolipop ;p (Amir), Min, Wawa, Me & Myrul

I went inside the MBPJ HQ to see the exhibition on students' project. I'm quite impress with all the works. There are many other universities and college involved too. The juniors told us to come that night to watch the finale. Of course we did!

That night was so cool! We did the ID clap everytime Uitm wins anything. Touching gua tau. RINDU yang teramat siot. I wish all my other ID coursemates were there too to witness it. Tsk tsk tsk. Takpe adik-adikku, next time we'll meet again! I miss Sri Iskandar now! Huwaaa.

Si Gig paling siot " Wey Fareeza aku dengar ko murtad ID?" Memang macam haram. Aku bukan tukar kos doww, aku sambung kos lain je! Diploma aku ID kot! Sambung pun kos yang related, so no biggie man! (ayat sedapkan hati)

HAHAHAHA what hever ever lah.
